IV Lidocaine at Allevio Pain Management

What is IV Lidocaine?

  • Lidocaine and Procaine are local numbing agents (much like what dentists use to numb when you get a filling).
  • When mixed with Saline and infused through the body, Lidocaine may have an effect of quieting nerves, which may be firing for no apparent reason.
  • This treatment is not addictive, and is given for the temporary relief of Chronic Pain.

  • The infusion itself will be between 45 – 60 minutes.
